This Precious Human Life: Daylong Retreat
Time & Location
About the Event
In certain schools of Buddhism, one of the first things given to new students is a series of contemplations called, “The Four Thoughts that Turn the Mind Toward the Dharma,” the first of which is the consideration of the preciousness of being incarnated as a human being. As we face life's ups and downs and uncertainties, this sense of preciousness can get lost and we can easily succumb to a limited view of our current condition.During this daylong retreat, we will re-examine our lives through meditation (sitting and walking), contemplation, and Dharma reflections and leave with a renewed sense of the incredible opportunities this life offers.
Saturday, January 23rd from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
